Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention is a gentle exercise that helps improve strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility. It’s a relaxing form of movement that comes from Chinese martial arts, and it’s perfect for older adults. This type of exercise is proven to reduce the risk of falls.
Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging (NEI3A) is offering Tai Chi classes in Elma from October 14 to November 18, 2024. Classes will be held at the Elma Public Library (319 Oak Street, Elma, IA 50628) every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
For those aged 60 and older, the suggested contribution is $4.00 per class. For anyone under 60, the fee is $4.00 per class. The class will be taught by Paula Hemann, a certified instructor.
