Riceville Lumber & LP Gas has been in the Mauer Family since 1972 with our Father/Grandfather Dean Mauer, since 2019 second and third generation have took over with Jess Mauer, Josh Mauer, Toby Howland, & Denny Mauer as the New Owners.  Our Business Hours are Monday-Friday 8-5 and Saturday 8-12,  Jess Resides in Rochester, MN as a Pipefitter for Local #6, He works on the Drafting and Estimates for Riceville Lumber, Josh Mauer Resides in Riceville and is a full time employee at Riceville Lumber he handles deliveries, LP Delivery, office organization.  Toby Howland Resides in Riceville and works for Cambrex full time and takes care of the Accounts Receivable for Riceville Lumber, Denny Mauer Resides in Riceville and works full time for Riceville Lumber in LP Delivery.  Another face you will see is Greg Johnson of Cresco he works in the office doing estimates, field measurements, etc.  Greg comes from many years of experience in the carpentry business.

We do L.P. gas delivery and service, ag builds, new home construction, garages, decks, windows, and  doors.  We can help you design your new project also.  We do drafting; whether it’s a garage, house, post frame, etc. We also help to set you up with a number of contractors if you don’t have one.  Free delivery.
